Welcome to Silver Shears, a trusted name in barbering and a fixture in the  Marblehead community since 1976. Originally established on Pleasant Street, Silver Shears quickly became a local favorite. In the years that followed, the shop relocated to its current home in Village Plaza, where it continues to serve customers with the same dedication and care.

Today, the tradition lives on under the ownership of Ken Carpenter, whose father Ken was one of the shop’s original owners. We’re honored to have customers who span three generations of the same family, all sitting in our chairs for their cuts. For nearly 50 years, Silver Shears has been combining classic barbering techniques with a welcoming atmosphere to ensure every visit is a positive one.
